I was leaving work today a noticed this poster for the Crescent City Blues and BBQ Festival in the window of Welty’s, a sandwich shop next door to the office. I designed the logo some 4 years ago, since then it has changed slightly. They have added “and BBQ” a year or two later. Most recently, the amorphous shape surrounding the logo is removed. I dig it. It’s a clean look. It’s always nice to see your work… especially, years after still in use. One reason why I like identity design – it lasts.
