Recently, while reading emails one subject line jumped out: “Congratulations from LogoLounge, Your work Selected!” I was ecstatic. Logo Lounge is a publication I’ve aspired to be published in ever since I won the second edition of Logo Lounge at an AIGA New Orleans event raffle 10 years ago.
Logo Lounge is a best-selling book series featuring design work selected from logo and identity design experts. I am honored that my work will be included in the next edition of the publication and excited that it was selected on my first entry.
Logos for this edition of were selected by a panel of 10 international design judges, including Andreas Karl, Aaron Draplin, Von Glitschka, Alex Tass, Chad Michael, Yo Santosa, Emily Oberman, Su Mathews Hale, Felix Sockwell and Alex Trochut.
When working with my client, Foster Marketing, for Gulf South Risk Services, I provided multiple versions of the final approved mark for different applications and the vertical version was selected and will be published.
In addition to a being book series, Logo Lounge is a searchable database of nearly 250,000 logos from designers around the world, representing more than 100 countries. It is a great design resource and a place to keep up with logo trends as things are always changing. A small sampling of members, contributors and past recipients are Art Chantry, BBDO, Brand Union, Duffy Partners, Landor Associates, MK12, Pentagram and Wolf Olins to name a few.
