Mitch Wallace Creative understood a little of Pax Mentis’ business and visual identity challenges from some initial talks and once we officially started the project we sat down for a kick-off interview to learn more. As a recently formed company in the financial industry, it was paramount to appear trustworthy, credible and professional. The visual identity also needed to be unique among its competitors, while still being true to itself. What separates Pax Mentis from their competitors are their comprehensive solutions to their clientele covering debts, savings, and investments at every step of the way. They also have a commitment to grow with their clients and to help them transition from being financially sufficient to efficient and ultimately to proficient.

Pax Mentis
Themes and values emerged from the discussions, which fueled the creative direction. Each theme was explored in more detail and, in doing so, themes began to expand and overlap with other concepts. The visual identity concepts presented originated from the overlaps of “long-term,” “comprehensive,” “plan” and “peace.”
The Pax Mentis primary brandmark utilizes a layers approach with multiple interpretations. The overall circular shape represents the comprehensive approach and each 3-pronged ring equals part of the whole system. The use of warm and friendly colors reinforces Pax Mentis’ personal attention toward all clientele and the goal of creating a bright future.
