The internationally known Dutch designer and printmaker, Harmen Liemburg, traveled to New Orleans for a three-day silk-screening workshop at Tulane University and a lecture at Loyola University. Design materials were needed to promote this event to New Orleans area design students and local professionals.

I designed a bright playful poster and supporting postcards in Liemburg’s collage-like two to three-color silk-screening style. The created illustration fused assorted pieces of New Orleans and Louisiana that spanned the gambit of iconic imagery to include: the Mississippi River, alligators, palm trees, pelicans and the Crescent City Connection bridge.
